RECONDITIONING LAND FROM UNEXPLODED BOMBS FOR THE USE OF AGRI-BUSINESS
2.5 million tons of bombs dropped on Laos scared and contaminated land making them dangerous and unusable. Agriculture ready land is one of the most valuable asset in Laos. Enabling agriculture on the land is critical. B2B will perform survey, bomb clearance and re-conditioning of precious farmlands for existing and new farm enterprises to grow food and expand agri-business. In parallel, B2B will focus on job creation, which entails recruiting, training, retaining and advancing the work-force. The net positive effects will include reverse-immigration of Lao people minimizing human trafficking and disruption to the local workforce assets and family life. Improving healthcare for the disabled which resulted from bomb injuries. Increase business opportunities and entrepreneurship for ethnic minorities and women, close gender inequality, reduce wealth gap and enhance governance (ESG) entirely aimed at growing of sustainable agri-business industries in Laos.
